Are you moving to a new location that is a senior friendly neighborhood which is age specific? You fall in love with the subdivision because the home owners association includes all yard maintenance, offers bingo night and has easy access to almost all your needs! The only thing that is missing from your ideal move is a meal plan or cafeteria!

A perfect solution is to get in touch with your local “meals on wheels” organization that is most likely registered and are members through the Meals on wheels association of America. The Meals on Wheels Association of America is the oldest and largest national organization composed of and representing local, community-based Senior Nutrition Programs in all 50 U.S. states, as well as the U.S. Territories.

Williamsburg Area Meals on Wheels who has been meeting the needs of the community since 1974 and also serves more than 100 people daily. This program is dedicated to provide hot nutritious meals at noontime while achieving the goal of healthy living, nutritional well-being and independence! This criterion encompasses all income groups. Arrangements can be made for short term or long term service, or for just a few times each week. Anyone is eligible that is unable to prepare meals for themselves, homebound or unable to shop. Below is the contact information to each area location.
